Art Marks Time

Each piece of work within this collection serves as a reflector, translator, and spot light of historic and current societal issues that include racial and gender inequality, civil rights, globalization, environmental crisis, greed, cultural and social identity. Each of the pieces incorporate the use of light bulbs. These light bulbs represent the light found within activists around the world who are fighting back and demanding change. They are the light that is inspiring society to open its eyes to what is really happening in our world, so that we in turn can find the valor and compassion to be a voice for the oppressed, discarded and forgotten.
